Low Light / No Light

TRAINING CONTENT

Theory: Briefing on possible problems and dangers of poor visibility, discourse regarding the advantages and disadvantages of various light sources as well as "night sights"

Practice: Gearcheck, uses of lights, working with lights and weapon, searching rooms, identifying people in darkness, reloading and clearing inhibitions with lights, moving out of attack/fire line

REQUIREMENTS

  • Legal document on firearms
  • Module 1 to 3 Defensive Shooting Handgun completed (Exceptions only after personal consultation with the SKAAT team)
  • Safe handling of firearms

COURSE DETAILS

  • Location/Time: see dates
  • Course duration: approx. 5 hours
  • Arrival: 15 minutes before course start at the latest
  • Cost: € 250,- per person
  • Course size: max. 8 persons, 4 per trainer

EQUIPMENT

  • Comfortable & durable outdoor clothing
  • Footwear with a grippy sole
  • Safety glasses
  • Hearing protection
  • Knee pads (if needed)

WEAPONS & HOLSTERS

  • Handgun suitable for carrying
  • Holster concealed on belt or inside waistband holster
  • Magazine pouches on belt
  • Jacket to wear over it
  • For duty weapon carriers: "duty holster" (holster that is worn open, i.e. visible)
  • 2-3 spare magazines
  • 1-2 tactical flashlights (e.g. Fenix, Surefire,...)
  • Weapon light (if available)
  • spare batteries
  • NOTE: It is possible to borrow tactical flashlights.

Force on Force

TRAINING CONTENT

Theory: Perception exercise

Dry-fire training: repetition of drawing process, forced magazine change, firing modes

Practice:

  • „Get out of the X“: Correctly moving out of the attack or firing line
  • Door techniques (open doors, closed doors in various variants)
  • Procedure in an object (rooms, etc.)
  • FX target course (heavy weight friend/foe identification, or shooting performance)

Role play: unarmed person, person with knife/shotgun, use of obstacles/covering

REQUIREMENTS

  • Module 1 to 3 Defensive Shooting Handgun completed

  • Safe handling of firearms

Semi-automatic Long/Handgun

TRAINING CONTENT MODULE 1

Theory: Equipment, weapon systems, sighting aids

Practice: Firing in (if necessary), shooting stance, weapon grip, snap shot, impact hit, magazine change

TRAINING CONTENT MODULE 2

Practice: Stop types, weapon change, multiple targets, fixing escapements

TRAINING CONTENT MODULE 3

Practice:  Movement shooting, working with covers

REQUIREMENTS

  • Module 1 to 3 Defensive Shooting Handgun completed (Exceptions only after personal consultation with the SKAAT team)
  • Shot-in long/handgun
  • Legal document on firearms
  • Safe handling of firearms

  • Arrival: 15 minutes before course start at the latest
  • Cost: € 250,- per module per person
  • Course size: max. 8 persons, 4 per trainer

Note: Course takes place outdoors in all weather conditions!

  • Comfortable & durable outdoor clothing
  • Wetness resistant footwear with a grippy sole
  • Magazine stowage options (equipment belt, chest rig, plate carrier, etc.)
  • Gloves
  • Knee pads
  • Safety glasses
  • Hearing protection

WEAPONS & HOLSTERS

  • Handgun
  • 3 magazines with mag pockets
  • Holster (easy to reach when changing weapons, no sport holsters)
  • Long gun with carrying strap (for short range module: semi-automatic carbine (AUG Z, OA15), etc.
  • stock system for pistol in caliber 9mm Para - 5.56mm), magazine capacity should not be less than 10 rounds, at least 3 magazines with pockets
  • Aiming aids such as red dot sights and optics can be partially advantageous, but are not absolutely necessary

AMMUNITION

  •  Approx. 200 shots handgun
  • 500 - 600 shots long gun

Long Gun Marksmanship

TRAINING CONTENT

Shooting technique, breathing technique, types of stop, makeshift and alternative stop with and without aids, ballistics in theory and practice

REQUIREMENTS

  • Shot-in long gun
  • Legal document on semi-automatic firearms
  • Safe handling of firearms

COURSE DETAILS

  • Course duration: approx. 5 - 6 hours
  • Arrival: 15 minutes before course start at the latest
  • Cost: € 250,- per person
  • Course size: max. 8 persons, 4 per trainer

EQUIPMENT

  • Packed backpack (suitable as a weapon rest)

WEAPONS & HOLSTERS

  • Carbine (K 98, SSG 69, etc.,.) with at least 5 rounds magazine capacity
  • Semi-automatic carbine (AUG Z, OA15, etc.)
  • Aiming aids such as red dot sights and optics can be an advantage, but are not absolutely necessary, shooting is at 100 m and 200 m
